Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using GYM: Getting You Moving. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this app. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Free Trial & Subscription

• The app is free to download.
• New users receive a 5-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment details are required at download.
• After the trial period, continued access requires a subscription. Two plans are available: £1.99 per month or £20 per year.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan chosen, and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are issued for partial months.
• On iOS, payments are charged to your Apple ID and managed through your Apple ID Account Settings. Auto-renew turns off there.
• On Android, payments are processed by Stripe. Cancellation is handled via the in-app Account screen or by contacting us.

3. Personal Trainer (PT) Subscription

• Personal trainers who wish to join the PT pool are charged £10 per month for the first 3 months as an introductory rate.
• After the introductory period, the standard rate of £20 per month applies.
• PT subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• All PT lead enquiries are managed and vetted by the app owner before being assigned. No minimum volume of leads is guaranteed.
• The app owner reserves the right to remove any personal trainer from the pool at any time, with or without prior notice, at their sole discretion.

4. User-Generated Content

Workout logs, notes, social posts, and any other content you enter into the app belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data or training records. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely for the purpose of delivering the app's features to you.

5. Health & Medical Disclaimer

This app is intended for informational and fitness tracking purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You should consult a qualified medical professional before beginning any exercise programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing health condition, injury, or are returning to exercise after illness.

The app owner is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with exercise performed as a result of using this app.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app — including but not limited to reverse engineering, attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping data, posting unlawful or abusive content, or interfering with other users' accounts or experience. Accounts found to be in breach may be suspended or terminated without notice.

7. Availability & Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided by the app — including exercise videos, AI-generated plans, machine guides, and interface design — is owned by or licensed to the app owner and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used outside the app without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. The app is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
