The Beat Boxer competition ran from 1 June to 30 July 2026 and is now over. It opened at £50 for June, three players entered, and nobody beat my score of 545 on "Embers", so it rolled over and doubled to £100 for July. No scores were set in the July round.
The prize was never won and no money was paid out. These rules stay published as the record of what was offered. There is no live Beat Boxer competition at the moment; the "Embers" leaderboard is still in the app, but there is no cash attached to it.

This is a free-to-enter game of skill. To take part:
GYM is free to download and includes a free trial period, so you can enter at no cost. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
The result is determined entirely by skill. Beat Boxer scores you on how accurately and in-time you throw straight punches, slip and switch stance to the on-screen targets during the song “Embers”. The same song, scoring and rules apply to every entrant, so the outcome depends on the player's performance, not on luck or a random draw.
The June 2026 round carried a £50 prize and closed on 30 June 2026 with the leading score unbeaten, so it has rolled over and doubled: the prize is now £100 and the extended round closes at 23:59 (UK time) on 30 July 2026. At close, the entrant holding the highest score on “Embers” on the in-app Beat Boxer leaderboard wins. In the event of a tie, the score set earliest wins. We will contact the winner in-app within 7 days of the round closing; the winner must respond within 14 days to claim.
The prize is £100 in cash, paid by bank transfer or PayPal within 14 days of the winner being verified. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
We may verify any score before awarding a prize and may disqualify any entry we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, automated or otherwise in breach of these rules. Our decision on the winner is final.
We may amend these rules, change the competition song for a future round, or withdraw the competition where reasonably necessary; any change will be posted on this page. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple or Amazon. These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales.
